BrowZine
is our new journal citation finding service! A virtual display case of the
electronic journal subscriptions available to you through the library. Type in
the journal title and drill down to reach the article you are hunting for.
Along the way notice that it has broad topics through which you can BrowZ to discover what we have access
to! And if you find something you’d like to be proactive in your knowledge
quest by following regularly, you can set up an account to create your own Bookshelf. No more wading through email
alerts!
When
you set your account, they’ll send a link to an explanatory video. You can even access the journals on your phone with an app and our remote
access service OpenAthens.
To find BrowZine while on campus, go to the
library’s web-based journals page and check the FAQs page for more information.
How
is this different from a database search like MEDLINE through PubMed?
BrowZine is a way to get to an article for which you have a citation. MEDLINE
is designed for subject searching and includes links to the articles we have
that you encounter. Together you have multiple ways to find the information you
need.
