About this Newsletter

This is the newsletter of the Brandon Carrell, M.D., Medical Library of the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, located in Dallas, Texas. It is written by Mary Peters, Medical Library Manager. The newsletter announces services and materials available through the library. It gathers links to sites that may be useful in providing quality health care. It also supports the more general information needs of the staff by including such topics as consumer protection tips. The focus is on facts, but if any opinions are expressed they are my own and not the hospital's.

Photos directly posted on the site are my own and are mostly views from the library windows. Most links are external, but some may only be accessible from within the hospital itself.

The library is an example of a "one person library" in a specialized pediatric hospital. It is a member of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine.
